The wise and foolish builders

It's been a very exciting couple of months for Project PWG as we prepare our land for our first buildings!

God has been graciously providing the resources and people we need every step of the way. We have purchased our land, received funding for the well, and had surveyors come check the land to determine the best places to build.

In order to be good stewards of our resources, we have been taking time to make sure we are building structures on solid locations and digging the well over one of the best water veins. Our team has been working hard to start clearing the land in these areas. As we have been praying over our land and the ministry, the parable of the wise and foolish builders has been on our mind:

“Everyone who hears these words of mine and does them will be like a wise man who built his house on the rock. And the rain fell, and the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house, but it did not fall, because it had been founded on the rock. And everyone who hears these words of mine and does not do them will be like a foolish man who built his house on the sand. And the rain fell, and the floods came, and the winds blew and beat against that house, and it fell, and great was the fall of it.” - Matthew 7:24-27

Building the foundation of this ministry has been an incredible experience in learning to trust the Lord and depend on Him for guidance.

Being wise builders is not just about foundations, but also security. Before we place any structures on our land, we want to make sure we are being good stewards of what we have been given and ensure that our assets will be secured via fencing or a physical presence on site.

Project PWG wants to build our ministry on a solid foundation, as well! Please continue to pray with us as we engage in the community and develop programs for discipleship and skills training.
